The La Maddalena Archipelago National Park covers large parts of the island group located northeast of the coast of Sardinia. It extends over an area of 201.46 km² and a coastline of 180 km. The park was established in 1994 as a geo-marine protected area.

The La Maddalena Archipelago lies off the northeast coast of Sardinia and, with its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, is one of the most important natural treasures of the Mediterranean. Thanks to various environmental organizations dedicated to protecting the marine and coastal ecosystem, the La Maddalena National Park was established.
This picturesque destination, rich in diverse flora and fauna, is considered one of the most beautiful places to visit.
Once coveted by great historical figures such as Napoleon, Admiral Nelson, and Garibaldi, these waters offer a fascinating blend of history and curiosities waiting to be discovered by history lovers.
